Who we are,

Members United is made of federal and territory public servants who want to reform our union (Community and Public Sector Union, PSU Group) to expand democracy, while also building up our capacity to take industrial action and win real improvement to workers lives. We want to reinvigorate the union membership by putting more power in the hands of the rank and file.

We oppose the systemic understaffing of the public sector, and believe that the community values the role of a public service that is in public hands. We are working to mobilise this support through standing in the 2026 union elections, with a full Executive Committee slate and a range of Governing and Section official positions.
